The newly modernized Dandora Factory was officially commissioned by H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta in a colourful event held on Saturday, 22nd July 2019.

Over Kes 400 million was invested towards the modernization of Dandora Factory, and which involved the installation of new machinery, some of which were the first of their kind in Africa, and from some of the most trusted dairy processing companies in the world.
With its completion, Dandora Factory has more than doubled its processing and packaging capacity which now stands at 160,000 litres per day, lending added assurance to dairy farmers in its catchment area of a ready market for their produce, but also created employment as well as economic opportunities, both directly and indirectly, all across the dairy value chain.
